Troubleshooting Patch Generation

The result is close but not quite right

Regenerate with a more specific prompt rather than a shorter one. Name the texture, the movement, and the register separately — “bright pluck” maps to very different parameters than “bright pluck that decays into a slow granular wash.”

The result doesn’t resemble the prompt at all

• Check that the prompt describes a sound, not a genre or artist reference alone (“moody techno lead” is weaker than “detuned saw lead with a slow filter envelope and light distortion”).
• Try isolating one descriptor at a time to see which term the mapper is weighting oddly.

The request fails outright

NOTE

Still stuck

This is a new pipeline and this guide will grow with real failure modes as they’re reported. If none of the above helps, that’s useful signal on its own — it means this page is missing a case.
