Undertow Overview

UNDERTOW is Murmur’s sub-bass-focused synthesizer: a real, analog-modeled mono bass voice, MIDI-triggered, sharing the same prompt-to-patch approach as Murmur.

What’s implemented

• Real analog-modeled bass voice DSP with last-note-priority and legato glide
• Output pan applied post-engine (the voice itself is mono at the source)
• HOLD/LATCH sustain (ignores note-offs while armed) and an immediate PANIC RESET
• A live oscilloscope in the plugin UI

UNVERIFIED

No host-automatable parameter surface exists yet (confirmed directly in the source: UndertowProcessor.h explicitly notes this), so there’s no parameter reference page for Undertow yet — unlike Splay and Fathom, which do have one.

Undertow uses its own approved accent color (copper/crimson) instead of Murmur’s default teal — see design-source.md for where that’s defined.
